LEXINGTON, Ky.-- Wartburg College Sports Information Director, KatieJo Kuhens '07, was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association Grant Burger Regional SID honoree, the association announced today. She was one of ten SIDs to earn the regional honor in all of NCAA Division III.

Areas in which the SID office has improved coverage for volleyball:

1. Live in-game stats at every home match
   1. Have also traveled to weekend tournaments for recording the statistics as not all tournament hosts provide in-game stats as they usually collect bench stats for the box scores and stat files.
2. At home tournaments on multiple courts, have provided in-game stats for non-Wartburg teams
3. Created program's record book from scratch. Includes career and season (team and individual) leaders/records, match highs, All-American, opponent series history, etc.
4. Helped orchestrate Knight Vision (Wartburg's premium live sports network) coverage of home matches. Knight Vision does a full TV broadcast (three cameras, play-by-play and color announcer, graphics, etc.) for the home matches.
   1. Also aid in the annual season introduction video that plays before the broadcast and in the arena

Kuhens is completing her fourth year as the SID at Wartburg and serves as the primary media relations contact for all 20 varsity teams.
