CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-- Junior Miranda Murphy (Alleman) repeated as the Iowa Conference's female athlete of the week and top weekly performer for women's basketball, the conference announced today.

Her achievements:

• Murphy was the Knight's leading scorer and rebounder on the week with 15.5 PPG and 8.0 rebounds per game
• As the Knights went 2-0 on the week Murphy shot .500 from the field and 1.000 (5-5) from the free throw line
• In a 73-55 victory over Loras, Murphy scored 13 points, secured 13 rebounds, added one assist, one blocked shot, and three steals
• In the Knight's 77-54 win against Dubuque, Murphy scored 15 points, tallied three rebounds, one assist and one steal
• Wartburg remains undefeated in IIAC play at 5-0 and 13-1 overall
• Murphy is now a two-time Women's basketball and Female Athlete of the Week honoree (1/1/17, 1/8/17)
• The Knights are ranked No. 11 in the d3hoops.com Top 25 poll and No. 9 in the WBCA Top 25 poll
