In episode seven of the BurgCast, Wartburg College Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Marcus Newsom discusses anti-racism and social injustice, continued from a vigil held at Kohlmann Park in Waverly, Iowa on June 17, 2020.

Newsom has led Wartburg women's track & field to eight national championships along with a combined 60 conference championships throughout men's and women's indoor and outdoor seasons. Coach Newsom also spoke about his background growing up and developing into a leader under the guidance of his mother, sport diversity and social change.
