DUBUQUE, Iowa—The Wartburg women’s basketball team (12-4 overall, 5-2 IIAC) defeated Iowa Conference opponent, Loras (8-7, 3-3) 79-59 Saturday afternoon.
 
Two Knights, seniors Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) and Terri Dirks (Monticello) set new career-highs on the day with 22 and 17 points, respectively.
 
Senior Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.) and junior Maddie Sadecky (Iowa City) also finishes in double-digits with 16 and 10.
 
Dirks also had a team-best eight rebounds in the game.
 
The Orange and Black were ahead 42-27 at halftime and extended their margin to as many as 22 in the second frame.
 
As a team, Wartburg shot an impressive .600 from the field, including .769 from beyond the arc.

The Knights return to action Monday against Cornell at 6 p.m.
