WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg College women’s basketball team (15-5 overall, 8-2 IIAC) recorded the season sweep over Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (5-15, 2-9) with its 78-55 win Saturday.

Senior Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.) had a career-high 25 points on the day.

Classmates Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) and Terri Dirks (Monticello) joined her in double figures with 17 and 10 points, respectfully.

Wilson, Dirks and junior Cathy Reiter (Buckingham) led the team on the boards as each had four rebounds.

The Knights were ahead 47-28 at halftime and were ahead by as many as 28 points in the second frame.

The Orange and Black return to the court Wednesday when they travel to face Cornell at 6 p.m.
