CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-- The top-ranked Wartburg College wrestling team (17-1 overall, 7-0 IIAC) went 3-0 at the Iowa Conference duals Saturday.
With the wins, the Knights' Iowa Conference dual streak moves to 158 straight matches.
Sophomore Landon Williams (Davenport) recorded his eighth pin of the year and senior Byron Tate (Clinton) tallied his 11th of the season. Tate also eclipsed the 30-win mark of the year and has won his last 14 matches.
Sophomore Ryan Fank (Independence) recorded his team-best 14th pin of the season.
Junior Kodie Silvestri (Franklin, N.J.) increased his winning streak to 13 straight matches and senior Bradley Banks (Stockbridge, Ga.) reached the 20 win point of the year.
Senior Dylan Azinger (DeWitt) met the 25-win mark of the season and has won his last 19-straight matches.
Classmate Ben Scott (Adel) also met the 25-win mark of the year and has been victorious in his last 12 matches.
