Wartburg Travels to Face Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women’s basketball team (10-3 overall, 3-1 IIAC) travels to Cedar Rapids to face Iowa Conference opponent, Coe (10-3, 4-0) Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Knights look to snap a five game-skid to the Kohawks.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:

Senior Stephanie Reiter (Buckingham) leads the Orange and Black with her 12.0 PPG. Classmate Leslie Wilson (Austin, Minn.) and junior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) join her in double figures with 11.1 and 11.0 PPG, respectively.

Wilson has a team-best 6.2 rebounds per game.

Coe:
Four players are averaging double-digits as Kayla Waskow paces her team with 15.4 PPG. Mary Halvorson, Leslie Ware and Mackenzie Reed follow with 10.7, 10.5 and 10.2 PPG, respectively. Waskow leads the team on the glass with her 6.5 rebounds per game.

Against IIAC Opponents:
Wartburg ranks in the top four in eight categories: first in scoring (73.2 PPG), second in scoring margin (+9.5), free throw percentage (.762), field goal percentage(.469), three-point field goal percentage (.351) and assists (15.25/game), third in three-point field goals made and steals (12/game)

Individually, Wilson is the second-leading scorer (15.5 PPG), S. Reiter is seventh (14.5), Weidemann is 17th (11.3).
Wilson leads the IIAC with her .697 field goal percentage and is the 11th-leading rebounder. Weidemann is 12th (.444) and Reiter is 15th (.408).

Reiter has a league-best 5.25 assists per game and Weidemann averages 2.75/game .

Weidemann is fourth in free-throw percentage (.875), freshman Holly Halstead (Hudson) is sixth (.800) and Wilson is 14th (.727).

Junior Cathy Reiter (Buckingham) is second in steals, S. Reiter is sixth, and Wilson and Weidemann are both 15th.

Junior Maddie Sadecky (Iowa City) is eighth in three-point field goal percentage (.400) and S. Reiter is 12th (.367).

Senior Emily Timmermans (Vinton) is ninth in blocked shots and classmate Terri Dirks (Monticello) and S. Reiter are both 14th.

S. Reiter leads the league in three-point field goals while Sadecky is fourth.
