MONMOUTH, Ill.-- Senior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) tied her career-high with 22 points, including a career-best four three-pointers in the 49-39 win over Iowa Wesleyan in the third-place game at Monmouth's tournament.

Weidemann originally set her career mark last season against Simpson on Feb. 23.

Junior Carly Jacobs (Greene) was the next leading scorer with six points and sophomore Allison Emrich (Vinton) led the team on the glass with five rebounds.

The Knights held the 24-20 lead at halftime which they never relinguished.

As a team, the Orange and Black held the advantages in field goal percentage (.400-.282), assists (16-7), blocks (3-0) and steals (8-4).

Weidmann and senior Baileigh O'Brien (Fort Dodge) were named to the All-Tournament team.

Wartburg returns to the court Saturday when it hosts UW-Platteville at 2 p.m.
