INDIANOLA, Iowa-- The No. 14 Simpson women's basketball team (13-1 overall, 3-0 IIAC) defeated Wartburg (9-5, 2-1) 66-57 Saturday.

Two Knights, junior Carly Jacobs (Greene) and freshman Kailey Kladivo (Traer) finished in double digits with 18 and 13 points, respectively.

Senior Baileigh O'Brien (Fort Dodge) had a career-high 13 rebounds on the day.

The Storm were ahead 30-23 at halftime and the Orange and Black compiled a strong second-half effort scoring 34 points.

As a team, Wartburg held the advantage in rebounds (41-31).

The Knights return to action Wednesday when they host Coe at 6 p.m.
