DUBUQUE, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's basketball team (11-6 overall, 4-2 IIAC) fell 50-38 to Loras (14-3, 4-2) Monday night.

Junior Carly Jacobs (Greene) was the team's leading scorer with 13 points. Senior Abi Weidemann (Iowa Falls) was the next leading scorer with eight points.

Sophomore Holly Halstead (Hudson) led the Knights on the glass with her six rebounds.

The Duhawks led 19-12 at halftime and opened the second frame on a 8-5 run to build the margin to 10.

The Orange and Black held the advantage in three-point field goal percentage (.333 vs. .250).

Wartburg returns to is home court Wednesday when it hosts Luther at 6 p.m.
