FAYETTE, Iowa-- Sophomore Bobbi Burrows (Bondurant) matched her career-high as she scored 15 points in the season opening 65-56 loss to Division II opponent Upper Iowa Friday night.

Two Knights, senior Carly Jacobs (Allison) and sophomore Kailey Kladivo (Traer) joined Burrows in double digits as each finished with 14 points on the night. Kladivo had a double-double as she added 10 rebounds.

The Knights led 33-24 at halftime, but the Peacocks used a 41-point second half to win the game.

Wartburg held Upper Iowa to .240 percentage from three-point land.

The Knights return to action next Wedneday on the road against Grinnell at 7:30 p.m.
