Wartburg Travels to Face Simpson

WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (8-8 overall, 2-3 IIAC) travels to face Simpson (9-7, 4-1) Saturday at 2 p.m. After dropping its Iowa Conference opener to Loras, Simpson brings a four-game winning streak into tomorrow's game.

Saturday's game features the top two team scoring offenses in league as the Knights lead with 75.4 PPG and the Storm is second with 71.4 PPG.

The Series
Simpson holds the all-time lead at 45- 24. Wartburg's last win over the Storm was on Dec. 3, 2011 in Waverly, 71-54.

A Look at the Teams
Simpson

Brooke Panzer leads the Storm with 11.8 PPG. Brittany Hedrick and Morgan Terpstra nearly join her in double digits with 9.5 and 9.1 PPG, respectively.

Panzer is the team's leading rebounder with 6.1 rebounds per game.

Wartburg
Sophomore Kailey Kladivo (Traer) leads the team with 14.4 PPG. Junior Alyssa Sager (Albert Lea, Minn.), senior Carly Jacobs (Allison) and sophomore Bobbi Burrows (Bondurant) join her in double figures with 12.3, 10.9 and 10.9 PPG, respectively.

Sager and Kladivo co-lead the team on the glass with 7.6 rebounds per game.

Sager is the conference's second-leading scorer (15.4 PPG), Kladivo is seventh (13.8) and Burrows is eighth (13.6).
