WAVERLY, Iowa-- Sophomore Bobbi Burrows (Bondurant) and junior Chelsey Wedeking (Nashua) set career-highs in Wednesday's 89-75 loss to Loras.

Burrows had 23 points and Wedeking had 14. The duo was joined in double digits by 13 from junior Holly Halstead (Hudson) and 10 from classmate Allison Emrich (Vinton).

Burrows finished with six three-pointers which was one shy of the single-game school record and two short of the IIAC single game record.

Burrows broke her previous mark of 20 set against Luther on Jan. 11. Wedeking's previous high was 10 set against Monmouth on Dec. 30.

Junior Mary Brown (Spirit Lake) had a team-high seven rebounds on the night.

Loras had the lead, 51-38, at halftime and the Knights cut the margin to eight with 7:48 to play.

The Duhawks answered with a 8-1 run over the next three minutes to increase their lead to 15 with 5:21 to play.

The Orange and Black continue their three-game homestand Saturday when they host Buena Vista at 2 p.m.
