DUBUQUE, Iowa-- Freshman Morgan Neuendorf (Shell Rock) and junior Kailey Kladivo (Traer) scored 15 and 14 points, respectively, in the 65-58 upset win over Loras in the Iowa Conference Tournament Quarterfinal game Tuesday. Neuendorf went a perfect 8-8 at the free throw line, which not only tied Wartburg's single all-time record in an Iowa Conference tournament game, but also marked the most free throws made as the old mark stood at six set by Jenni Donohue (6-6) vs. Upper Iowa 2/20/01, Ami Franzen (6-6) vs. Simpson 2/27/04 and Natalie Tarkett (6-6) vs. Buena Vista 2/28/04.



The Knights trailed 27-24 at halftime but compiled a 7-2 over the first four minutes of the second half to take a two-point lead. The score was tied four more times over the next five minutes until the Orange and Black went on a 11-0 run in four minutes to take the lead for good at 51-40. The Duhawks sliced the margin to four (62-58) with ten seconds to play, but Wartburg made three of four free throw attempts to seal the win.

The Knights advance to face top-seed Dubuque Thursday at 7 p.m.
