Other Notes:-The Knights enter the weekend as the five-time defending NWCA Dual Champion and NCAA National Champion. The 2015 title was the ninth National Duals crown overall and fifth consecutive. The Orange and Black also took the top spot in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
-From 2002 (when the NWCA National Duals was created) until 2012, it had only been Wartburg and Augsburg in the finals each year. This has not happened since then as both programs were on the same side of the bracket at the 2013 Duals. The 2014 finals was between Wartburg and Concordia-Moorhead and 2015 was Wartburg vs. UW-Whitewater.
-Senior Gerard Roman (Harahan, La.) enters the weekend on a 13-bout winning streak and is a perfect 13-0 this season. Nick Michael is also a perfect 9-0 to date.
-Senior Mark Pinero (Saint Rose, La.) and sophomore Lance Evans (Solon) both have a team-best seven falls on the year.
-Evans brings a 15-bout winning streak into the weekend and co-leads the team with junior Brady Meyer (Sumner) with a team-high 16 wins each.
