No. 9/10 Wartburg Hosts Nebraska Wesleyan

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 9/10 Wartburg (4-0 overall, 0-0 IIAC) hosts Nebraska Wesleyan (3-1, 0-0) Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Iowa Conference opener. NWU became members of the IIAC this year.

The Series
Wartburg holds the 6-1 all-time series lead over Nebraska Wesleyan, but the programs have not met since 2014.

Wartburg
Junior Miranda Murphy (Alleman) leads the team with 14.5 PPG and 7.3 rebounds/game. Juniors and Marion natives Aryn Jones and Katie Sommer round out the leading scorers with 11.3 and 10.8 PPG, respectively. Sommer has a team-high 23 assists to date.

NWU
The Prairie Wolves enter tonight's contest on a three-game winning streak. Addie Wetzel is the leading scorer with 13.5 PPG, while Kate Schulte and Caitlin Navratil follow with 12.5 and 11.0 PPG, respectively.
