No. 8/8 Wartburg Looks to Stay Undefeated at Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 8/8 Wartburg women's basketball team (6-0 overall, 2-0 IIAC) travels to face Coe (2-3, 1-1) Wednesday at 6 p.m. and looks to increase its winning streak.

The Series
Wartburg leads the all-time series 36-19. The teams split the regular season meetings, each winning on the road.

Wartburg
Juniors Miranda Murphy (Alleman) and Katie Sommer (Marion) lead the team with 14.7 and 14.0 PPG, respectively. The duo co-leads the team on the glass with 6.7 rebounds/game each. Classmate Aryn Jones (Marion) rounds out the leading scorers with 10.4 PPG.

Sommer has 35 assists to date while Jones has seven blocks.

Coe
Jenna Lehman paces her team with 20.0 PPG while Aleena Hobbs and Mickey Hansche follow at 14.6 and 12.6 PPG, respectively. Lehman nearly averages a double-double with a team-best 7.8 rebounds/game.
