WARTBURG at CENTRAL HIGHLIGHTS

Four Knights finished in double digits as senior Bobbie Burrows (Bondurant) led the team with 18 points as she made all six shots from her uniform number's range (3). This tied her career mark for three-pointers in a single game which she has now done four times, most recently at Simpson on Jan. 31, 2015. Burrows narrowly missed a double-double as she led the team on the glass with nine rebounds.

Sophomore Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) had 16 points, twin sister Kristie had 13 and classmate Aryn Jones (Marion) finished with 11.

The Orange and Black took the narrow 9-8 lead after the first quarter, but a 26-point second quarter helped them take the 32-21 lead at halftime. Wartburg continued to extend the margin in the second half.

As a team, the Knights held the advantage in field goal percentage (.390 vs. .274) and held the Dutch to 7.7% from beyond the arc.

Wartburg returns to the court Wednesday when it hosts Dubuque at 6 p.m..
