With the victory, the Knights earned the No. 3 seed for the IIAC tournament and will host No. 6 seed Coe on Tuesday. Game time is yet to be determined.
WARTBURG vs. LUTHER HIGHLIGHTSFittinginly on Senior Day, seniors Kailey Kladivo (Traer) and Bobbie Burrows (Bondurant) led the team with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Twin sisters sophomores Kristie and Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) joined the duo in double digits with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Katie also had a career-best nine assists.
The Orange and Black took the 36-26 lead into halftime after an impressive 25-9 second quarter and led by as many as 23 in the fourth quarter.
Wartburg held the team advantages in all three shooting percentage categories and held the Norse to 26.5% from the field.
