WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 4/14 Wartburg women's basketball team (4-0 overall) travels to face UW-Platteville (2-3) Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 12-5, which includes the last six-straight meetings. The programs have not met since 2014.

Three Knights currently average in double digits. Senior Miranda Murphy (Alleman) leads the way at 13.3 PPG, classmates Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) and Abbie Haupert (Collins) follow at 11.3 and sophomore Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) rounds out the leading scorers at 10.5.

Sommer leads the team on the glass with 5.5 rebounds per game, free throw percentage (.889) and assists (26).

Katie ranks 12th with 1,014 points, second with 376 assists, sixth with 128 three-point field goals, fourth with 324 free throws.

Twin sister Kristie ranks third with 186 three-point field goals.

Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) ranks fifth with 77 blocked shots.

UW-Platteville
Morgan Horstman paces the team with 13.4 PPG and Allison Prestegaard follows at 9.6. Maiah Domask leads the team with 7.8 rebounds/game.
