WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 11/13 Wartburg women's basketball team (20-2 overall, 12-1 IIAC) looks to avenge its 66-61 loss to Luther (13-8, 9-3) from the first meeting on Jan. 18 when the two teams meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Series
Luther has now slightly pulled ahead in the all-time series with the 39-38 lead.

Wartburg
Junior Miranda Murphy (Alleman) leads the team with 13.8 PPG. Classmate Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) follows at 13.5 PPG, twin sister Kristie is third at 11.3 and Morgan Neuendorf rounds out the leading scorers with 10.4 PPG. Katie is the leading rebounder with 6.0/game.

Career/Season Record Watch
Katie has now moved into second on the program's all-time career leader list in assists with 315. She is also ninth on the career leader list for three-point field goals made (117). Katie is nine assists shy of setting a new single-season best, a record that she set last year.

Kristie currently ranks sixth in that category with 163 and needs four to move into fifth.

Jones has now moved into fifth in blocks (70). 

Luther
Katie Waller leads her team with 13.2 PPG and Anna Madrigal follows with 11.7. Sarah Holtz is the leading rebounder with 6.0/contest.
