WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 2/6 Wartburg women's basketball team (13-0 overall, 4-0 IIAC) hosts Luther (10-6, 4-1) Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg holds the narrow all-time series lead at 42-40, which includes two of the last three. The game at Luther last year was the Knights' only conference loss last season.

Senior Miranda Murphy (Alleman) leads the team with 12.9 PPG and 5.6 rebounds/game.

Classmate Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) follows at 11.7 PPG and has a team-high 81 assists, and 24 steals. She is the 12th leading scorer in the IIAC at 13.0 PPG and leads the conference with 6.8 assists/game. Twin sister Kristie follows in 13th with 12.0 PPG.

Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) is second with 5.3 rebounds/game and has a team-best 19 blocks.

Career Leader List Watch
Katie ranks 11th with 1,121 points, the all-time career leader with 431 assists, seventh with 142 three-point field goals, and third with 359 free throws.

Twin sister Kristie ranks second with 203 three-point field goals.

Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) ranks fourth with 95 blocked shots.

Luther
Two players average in double digits. Claire Marburger, the defending IIAC player of the week, leads the way with 17.6 PPG and 7.5 rebounds/game. Marburger also transferred from Central to Luther. Katie Waller follows at 12.8 PPG.

In conference games, Marburger has 19.4 PPG, Waller has 12.0, and the duo are joined by Madison Spence with 11.2 and Laura Hamilton at 10.4 PPG. Marburger's average ranks second-best among all IIAC players.
