WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 23/24 Wartburg women's basketball team (6-2 overall) travels to Las Vegas for the Trip Sports Las Vegas Hoopla. The Knights will play No. 20/22 Randolph Macon College (9-1) Tuesday at noon and Cabrini University (5-4) Wednesday at noon.

Wartburg has never previously faced either of these programs.

Wartburg
Junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) leads the team with 11.5 PPG and 5.4 rebounds/game. Three teammates join her in double figures as junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) has 10.6 PPG, senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) has 10.4 and sophomore Tori Hazard (Janesville) also averages 10.4 PPG.

Gerdes (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 42 assists.

Randolph Macon
The Yellow Jackets have won their last nine-straight games.  Kelly Williams averages a double-double with 20.6 PPG and 16.1 rebounds/game. Michal Ross joins her in double digits with 15.1 PPG.

Cabrini
The Cavaliers enter the tournament on a three-game winning streak.

Four players average in double figures as Nomi Washington has 16.3 PPG and 7.0 rebounds/game. Lexi Edwards has 12.3 PPG, Kate Lannon has 12.0 and Meghan Matthews has 10.5.

Individually, one Knight ranks in the top 100 of four statistical categories: Gerdes ranks 28th in assists/game (5.5), 34th in assists (44), 42nd in steals/game (3.25), and 55th in steals (26)
