WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 2/2 Wartburg women's basketball team (26-0 overall) hosts Luther (19-9) Saturday at 4 p.m in the Iowa Conference Tournament Championship game. The winner receives the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament next weekend.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 44-40, which includes four of the last five. The Knights swept the season series.

Senior Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) is the leading scorer for the Knights with 15.3 PPG. She also has a team-high 153 assists, and 60 steals. Classmates Miranda Murphy (Alleman) and Morgan Neuendorf (Plainfield) follow with 11.5 and 10.1 PPG, respectively.
Neuendorf and senior Aryn Jones (Marion) co-lead the team with 5.5 rebounds/game.
Career Leader List Watch
Katie is now sixth with 1,366 points, the all-time career leader with 503 assists, fourth with 177 three-point field goals, and third with 437 free throws.
Twin sister Kristie is the program's career leader in three-point field goals at 229. She is also 12th with 1,037 points.
Miranda Murphy is 11th with 1,051 points.
Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) ranks third with 112 blocked shots. She needs three to move into second.
Single Season Leader List Watch
Katie is ninth in free throws (129) and is second in assists (153). She needs four to break her own single season record.
Jones is tied for ninth in blocked shots (36).
Wartburg in the IIAC Tournament
The Knights have qualified for the conference tournament for the ninth-straight year and 18th time overall. Wartburg and Loras will meet for this second-straight year and third time in the last four years in the title game.
Luther
Claire Marburger continues to lead the team with 16.9 PPG and 7.0 rebounds/game. Katie Waller and Laura Hamilton join her in double digits with 11.1 and 10.4 PPG, respectively.
