WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 2/3 Wartburg women's basketball team (21-0 overall, 12-0 IIAC) travels to Luther (15-8, 9-3) Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Knights continue to hold steady atop the IIAC standings, while the Norse are second.
The Orange and Black are one of seven teams in all NCAA divisions that remain undefeated.

The Series
Wartburg holds the all-time series lead at 43-40, which includes three of the last four. The game at Luther was the Knights' only conference loss last season.

Senior Katie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) is the leading scorer for the Knights with 15.0 PPG. She also has a team-high 129 assists, and 46 steals.
Classmate Miranda Murphy (Alleman) follows with 11.7 PPG and leads the team with 5.6 rebounds/game.
In IIAC games, senior Morgan Neuendorf (Plainfield) is the team's second-leading scorer at 11.2 PPG. Classmates Kristie Sommer (Cedar Rapids) has 11.1 PPG and Aryn Jones (Marion) rounds out those in double figures with 10.0.

Katie is now eighth with 1,284 points, the all-time career leader with 479 assists, seventh with 165 three-point field goals, and third with 411 free throws.
Twin sister Kristie is now the program's career leader in three-point field goals at 222. She is also 13th with 1,011 points.
Senior Aryn Jones (Marion) ranks fourth with 104 blocked shots.
Luther
Three players average in double figures as Claire Marburger leads the team with 17.4 PPG. She adds a team-best 7.3 rebounds/game. Katie Waller follows at 11.1 and Laura Hamilton at 10.2.
Marburger is the reigning Iowa Conference Female Athlete of the Week.
