No. 16/18 Wartburg Travels to Face Nebraska Wesleyan

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 16/18 Wartburg women's basketball team (11-3 overall, 4-1 American Rivers) travels to face Nebraska Wesleyan (8-6, 3-2) Saturday at 2 p.m. The Knights are in a three-way tie for first in the conference standings while the Prairie Wolves are tied for fifth.

Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 10-1. The Knights have claimed the last seven meetings.

Wartburg
Junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 12.9 PPG. Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) and junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) and join her in double figures with 10.9 and 10.1 PPG, respectively.

Boettger has a team-best .692 field goal percentage, while Brainerd leads the team from beyond the arc (.833) and from the free throw line (.833).

Brainerd leads the team on the glass with 6.1 rebounds/game and Gerdes has a team-best 67 assists.

Nebraska Wesleyan
