No. 19/20 Wartburg Travels to Face Coe

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 19/20 Wartburg women's basketball team (14-3 overall, 7-1 American Rivers) travels to face Coe (10-7, 4-4) Monday at 6 p.m. The Knights are in a two-way tie for first in the conference standings with Loras, while the Kohawks are fifth.

The Series
The Knights lead the all-time series 42-19, which includes the last five-straight. The programs have met every season since 1996-97.

The Orange and Black won the first meeting of the season 70-47 in Waverly.

Wartburg
Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 12.7 PPG. Juniors Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) and Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) rounds out those in double figures with 12.1 and 10.0 PPG, respectively.

Boettger has a team-best .707 field goal percentage, while Brainerd leads the team from beyond the arc (.436) and from the free throw line (.841).

Brainerd leads the team on the glass with 5.9 rebounds/game and Gerdes has a team-best 82 assists.

Coe
Two Kohawks average in double figures as Jackie Feldt has a team-best 14.9 PPG and Madeline Wilkins follows with 14.2 PPG. Destiny Smith leads the team on the boards with 6.5 rebounds/game.

Against the Conference
Wartburg leads the conference in scoring 79.3 PPG, scoring margin (18.1), field goal percentage (.460), and free throw percentage (.794).

Boettger is the sixth-leading scorer (13.6 PPG) and leads the league in field goal percentage (.667). Gerdes is the fourth-leading rebounder (7.9), and leads the conference in assists (5.3). Brainerd is first in free throw percentage (.875).
