WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 16/18 Wartburg women's basketball team (11-2 overall, 4-0 American Rivers) hosts Luther (4-7, 3-1) Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Knights are in first in the conference standings while the Norse are tied for third.
The Orange and Black have won their last five straight and the Norse have won their last two consecutive games.

Junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 13.1 PPG. Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) and junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) and join her in double figures with 10.6 and 102 PPG, respectively.
Brainerd leads the team on the glass with 6.2 rebounds/game and Gerdes has a team-best 62 assists.
Luther
Sarah Holtz and Laura Hamilton pace their team with 14.4 and 12.5 PPG, respectively. Holtz nearly averages a double-double with her team-best 7.1 rebounds/game.
