EAU CLAIRE, WIS. - The Wartburg women's basketball team earned its second win of the season with a 69-54 victory over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.
The Orange and Black were 15-of-20 from the free throw line and were 23-of-52 in field goal shooting to help the Knights gain another road win.  
Three Knights scored in the double-digits during their win over the Blugolds. Senior 
Amanda Brainerd notched 20 points, where senior 
Emma Gerdes made 16 and junior 
Kaitlyn Volesky contributed 13 points. Five other team members contributed points to give the Orange and Black a back-to-back victory.
Gerdes tallied six rebounds and three assists. Volesky contributed five rebounds and Brainerd and junior 
Payton Draper each notched four assists. 
Wartburg's defense prevented UW-Eau Claire from outscoring them the entire game and only allowed the Blugolds seven points in the fourth quarter. 
Next up, the Knights are on the road again to Platteville, Wis. to play UW-Platteville on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
