WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 13/15 Wartburg women's basketball team (22-3 overall) will host Luther (12-12) in an American Rivers Conference Tournament semifinal Thursday at 7 p.m. The Knights are the No. 1 seed and the Norse are the No. 4 seed. The Orange and Black enter the night on an 11-game winning streak.

The Series
Wartburg owns the all-time series lead at 46-42. The Knights have claimed six of the last seven meetings. The Norse were victorious, 75-63, in the first meeting of the season in Waverly, but the Orange and Black won 64-39 in Decorah on Feb. 6.
In the Conference Tournament
Wartburg has qualified for the Conference Tournament for the 11th-straight year and 19th time overall (since the tournament began in 2000). The Knights are 21-14 in the tournament and have won four tournament championships. The Orange and Black are 3-2 against the Norse in this tournament and 1-1 in the semifinal round.

Senior Adrienne Boettger (Cedar Falls) leads the team with 12.9 PPG and junior Emma Gerdes (Cedar Falls) follows at 11.4 PPG. Gerdes has a team-best 5.6 rebounds/game and 119 assists.
Boettger has a team-best .699 field goal percentage, while junior Amanda Brainerd (DeWitt) leads the team from beyond the arc (.439) and from the free throw line (.846).

Boettger's field goal percentage stands second on the single season leader list. Gerdes' assist total ranks fifth.
