WATERLOO, Iowa - Kincaid and Mason lead the charge for men's tennis at the American Rivers Individual Tournament.
In the singles competition,
Lucas Huffman won his opening match but fell in the quarterfinals.
Luke Smith won his opening match and lost in the second round.
Billy Rouw won his play-in game but dropped his first round match.
In the doubles competition,
Lucas Huffman and
Nate Kolz won their first round match and were defeated in the quarterfinals.
Ethan Adams-Harwell paired up with Dylan Determan from Luther, and they fell in the opening round, as did doubles
Zach Heyerhoff and
Luke Smith, and
Jared Hefel and
Jack Veber.
Alex Jedlicka-Kriz and
Billy Rouw had a bye in round one, and dropped their first match in round two.
Grant Kincaid and
Ben Mason advanced to day two, but lost to Brett Dewerff and Reade Reiter from Simpson in the semi-finals.
The Knights will be back in action next weekend, Sept 27-28, at the ITA Regionals in Saint Peter, Minnesota.
