Wartburg hosted a pod of the conference duals last season, going 30-0 while outscoring Dubuque, Buena Vista, and Central 118-13. The Knights dropped just three of 30 individual bouts.
WARTBURG NOTES
- Most recently, the Knights improved to 11-0 with a 47-0 win at Luther College last Thursday, Jan. 16.
- Wartburg is ranked No. 1 in the latest NWCA DIII poll, including seven Knights ranked throughout respective weight classes, including No. 1 rankings for Kris Rumph and Brady Fritz.
- The Knights claimed their 12th NWCA National Duals title in Louisville, Ky. Jan. 11, defeating then-ranked No. 1 Augsburg University 24-15.
- Senior Max Forsyth leads the team with 19 wins, followed by 18 from Fritz and 17 from Kyle Briggs.
- Fritz leads Wartburg with 12 pins on the season.
