ORLANDO, Fla. - The Wartburg men's tennis team started day two of its Florida Spring Break Trip falling to Trine University, 3-6 and took a 5-4 victory in the second match against Grove City College.
During the first match in singles against Trine University,
Lucas Huffman defeated his No. 1 opponent 6-3, 6-2, and
Zach Heyerhoff won No. 5 singles in the third set 6-4, 2-6, 1-0. In doubles, Huffman and
Nate Kolz were highlighted for Wartburg's sole win, 8-3.
In the second match against Grove City College, the Knights won three of six singles with victories from Huffman, Heyerhoff and
Jared Hefel. Wartburg also took two of the three doubles with duos Huffman/Kolz and
Ben Mason/Heyerhoff winning at No. 1 and No. 2.Â
