WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg men's tennis defeated Saint Ambrose University 6-3 on Saturday afternoon in its season opener. With the victory, the Knights have now won four straight against the Fighting Bees and five out of the last six meetings. 

After falling behind 2-1 in doubles play, the Orange and Black rallied back to win five of the six single matches to earn the victory. Junior Lucas Huffman and senior Nate Kolz began their campaigns 2-0 after winning both of their singles and doubles competitions. Senior Jared Hefel also started his final season with a victory in singles play.
