CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced its athletes of the week for the week ending Sunday, Jan. 24, with Wartburg College wrestler Zane Mulder (So., Grimes, Iowa) named the Male Athlete and Wrestler of the Week.

The awards are the first of Mulder's career, a transfer from Iowa State University.

Mulder helped guide the Knights to a 37-6 win at the University of Dubuque on Saturday, Jan. 23 during the A-R-C opener, improving Wartburg's record to 1-1 overall. He moved to 2-0 on the season with a 16-4 major decision victory over the Spartans' Zarik Anderson, the 7th-ranked wrestler in the nation at 165 lbs. according to NWCA.

Wartburg wrestling returns to action this Saturday, Jan. 30 in Indianola, Iowa, traveling to campus of Simpson College for a triangular meet versus Coe College and Simpson.
