WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg men's tennis will travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, Feb. 13 to take on Coe College and Northwestern College with the first match against the Kohawks beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by the contest against the Red Raiders at 1:00 p.m.
The Knights (2-1, 0-0 A-R-C) will look to capture their first victory over Coe (2-0, 1-0 A-R-C) since 1990 and also try to extend their winning streak against Northwestern to 4-0. The matchup between Wartburg and the Red Raiders (1-1, 0-0 GPAC) will mark the first time the two programs have met since the 1990 season. The contest against Coe will be the conference season-opener for the Knights while the match against Northwestern will be a nonconference battle.
Wartburg began its spring season with a convincing 8-1 victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering back on Jan. 30. The Knights swept the doubles matches to claim a 3-0 lead then earned points in five of the six singles matches. Senior
