DECORAH, Iowa – The men's tennis team wrapped up American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament play Saturday, Sept. 25.
Wartburg had four athletes compete in the singles A flight.
Jackson Eells and
Lucas Huffman both had the best finish in the flight for the Orange & Black with losses in the second round.
In the singles B flight, the Knights had six in action.
Jeff Miller,
Luke Smith, and
Nile Petersen picked up first round wins but were defeated in the second round.
There were four Knights in the singles C flight of the tournament. Both
Kaleb Flenker and
Julian Nemmers won two matches before losing in the second round.
Wartburg had two teams compete in the A doubles bracket and the team of Eells and Huffman had the best finish with a loss coming in the quarterfinals.
In the B flight of doubles, the Orange & Black had three teams compete and the team of Petersen and Miller earned two wins and was defeated in the quarterfinals.
