WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg women's basketball won its fourth straight game today with a 72-58 win over Simpson College on Saturday, Dec. 10. The Knights are now 6-2 overall and 3-0 in American Rivers Conference play.

- After Simpson led 5-3 early, The Knights offense heated up for an 8-0 run that gave them a 11-5 lead just over three minutes in
- After quick five points from Jaedon Murphy and a bucket from Sara Faber, the Knights led 19-13 after the first quarter
- The Orange & Black came out of the second quarter firing with a 11-0 run fueled by three made three pointers
- Wartburg's lead got to 20 at its highest in the first half, but Simpson widled the lead down to 15 with just over 3 minutes left in the half

- Wartburg scored just two points in the first three minutes of the second half, but still led 48-32

- Murhpy connected from beyond the arc for the first points of the fourth quarter to give the Knights their largest lead of 23
- Simpson responed with a 14-5 run that brought the lead down to 14, but the Knights maintained their lead throughout the fourth
