CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference selected Lucas Huffman as the Men's Tennis Player of the Week this week after leading the Knights to a 2-1 record over the weekend. 
 
After a 3-0 weekend in the number one singles spot, Huffman is now 8-1 overall and in number one singles play. The senior is closing in on the school record for most singles wins of all time as he currently sits at 48, which is seven away from tying Tom Koenen's record of 55. Huffman already owns the school record for wins in the number one singles position with 44 and counting.

This marks the sixth time Huffman has received this honor from the A-R-C in his career.
 
Wartburg is set to continue the season with its spring trip to Florida, where they will see lots of competition starting on Monday, Feb. 28.
