DECORAH, Iowa – Men's tennis fell in the semifinals of the American Rivers Conference AQ Tournament to Coe College on Friday, May 6. The Knights end their historic season at 25-9 overall, which is the most wins in team history by nine wins.
The Knights lost all three doubles matches to start the dual off and the 5-0 sweep was secured after the Kohawks picked up wins in number two and six singles. The singles match in the first, third, fourth and fifth positions all were left unfinished.
The most competitive match came at number one doubles, where the team of Rami Hemaidan/Bo Wilson defeated
Lucas Huffman/
Jackson Eells 8-6. The duo closes the season at 18-7 overall in number one doubles.
Coe College will move on to face Luther in the championship tomorrow for the 17
th consecutive year.
