Endene receives weekly conference honor

CEDAR RAPIDS -- Massoma Endene was named the American Rivers Conference wrestler of the week, the conference office announced today.

His weekly accomplishments:

Endene and the No. 2-ranked Knights competed against Nebraska Wesleyan in an A-R-C dual.
Wartburg picked up a 54-0 win.
The junior faced Caleb Schwerdtfeger for the Prairie Wolves, but they did not remain on the mat for long as Endene picked up a fall in just 14 seconds.
This marks Endene's fourth fall of the season and remains undefeated on the season.
Wartburg improved their record to 3-0 overall and in league action.
The Knights will be back on the mats this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Desert Duals.
This is the first time the Dallas, Texas native is picking up Wrestler of the Week honors
