WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 24 Wartburg women's basketball defeated Buena Vista University at home 80-67 behind a 18 point double-double from
Macy Harris on Saturday, Feb. 11. The Knights remain a perfect 14-0 in American Rivers Conference Play and 19-4 overall.

- First Quarter
- Jaedon Murphy scored the first six points of the game for the Knights and BVU answered each score to make it 6-6 just over three minutes into the contest
- Maggie Wilkins and Britney Young both connected from three on back-to-back possessions to give the Knights a 12-6 lead
- The Beavers closed the final fve minutes of the quarter with an 8-0 run led by two three pointers

- After a BVU make to start the quarter, Sara Faber tied the game at 16 with a three pointer

- Third Quarter
- The Beavers opened the second half on an 8-1 run to make the score 47-43 Wartburg still in front
- The lead was cut to two with 5:21 to play in the third but Wartburg regained control after free throws from Harris and a three from Wilkins to put the lead back up to seven
- Young made her fourth three of the game to make the score 59-50 with 1:40 left in the third
- BVU closed the quarter with a bucket to cut the lead to seven after three quarters
- Fourth Quarter
- Murphy and Harris both scored to open the fourth quarter to keep the Knights in front by nine
- BVU got within six points with 6:26 to play, but were unable to stop the Knights offense
- A basket from Lauren Woeste and another three from Young put the Knights back up by 11 with 5:44 left
- Wartburg closed the game socring seven points in the final minutes of play to take a 80-67 win at home
