WAVERLY, Iowa-- Coe narrowly defeated Wartburg 5-4 Saturday. This was the most matches won by the Knights in this series since 1990.

  • This was the second-straight match Lucas Huffman won his singles match in the series. 
  • Kyle Sehlin won both of his matches today.
  • Haag's win at No. 6 singles in the third set helped solidify the fourth match win.
  • Coe was ranked No. 20 in the regional rankings.
  • This was the most matches a fellow A-R-C school had won against Coe (aside from Luther) since Central beat them 5-4 on April 2, 2011.
