CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference has released its 2024-25 preseason coaches' poll on Thursday, Mar. 6 and Wartburg was picked to finish fourth with 42 points.

Preseason No. 4 | Wartburg College Knights
Wartburg College enters the 2025 spring season looking to build on a solid fifth-place finish in the 2024 league championship. With a mix of seasoned veterans and emerging talent, the Knights are ready to make a push for the top of the conference standings. Head coach Jason Steege, now in his tenth season, has a wealth of experience to guide this team as they prepare for a competitive spring season.
The Knights return four key starters to the lineup this season: Josh Nichols, Nick Lechtenberg, Tuckey Kinney, and Jack Larson. Nichols posted a 76.7 scoring average last season and will continue to be a key figure to the Knights program. Lechtenberg had a scoring average of 78.5 during the 2023-24 season and looks to remain steady this spring. Kinney returns as an all-conference golfer this season. He posted a 80.2 scoring average last season, but showed his game can show up when it matters most. Larson brings a valuable stick to the course and recorded a 81.3 scoring average last season.
Wartburg College returns a talented and experienced group of golfers, with four returning starters, including three fifth-year players. The combination of seasoned veterans and younger talent provides a solid foundation for Wartburg as they look to improve their position in the conference.
