ATLANTA, Ga. - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll today with Wartburg earning the sixth overall spot out of all Division III schools.
The team honor marks the 14
th time Wartburg has earned an academic top 25 ranking since the debut of the award in 1995-96. The Knights finished the 2024-25 season with a team GPA of 3.81, which marks the fourth time in the last five seasons inside the top 10 of Division III.
Wartburg's team GPA of 3.81 is the third highest in program history behind the 2022-23 (3.872) and 2023-24 (3.846) seasons.
Award Criteria:
- All players who were on the official team roster at the start of the second semester must be included in computing the team GPA.
- First semester hours attempted and GPA
- Second semester hours attempted and GPA
- Weighted grades must be converted to a 4.0 scale
- Team GPA of 3.0 minimum
- Head coach must be a member of WBCA
