CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced its weekly awards on Monday, Sept. 15 with Wartburg's Lance Sobaski earning this week's A-R-C men's cross country runner of the week honors.
 
Sobaski and the No. 2 men's cross country are back in action next Saturday, Oct. 4 at home for the Dan Huston Invitational.

Men's Cross Country - Runner of the Week - Lance Sobaski (Brighton, Iowa/Washington), Wartburg College

• Sobaski won the Redbird Invite hosted by Illinois State over the weekend. 

• He finished in a time of 24:34.5 to finish 1.4 seconds ahead of second place. 

• The Knights finished first out of six teams with an impressive 16 points.
