CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Wartburg College freshman
Patrick Mullen (Naperville, Ill./Immaculate Conception College Prep) has been named the American Rivers Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week, announced today.
Mullen compiled a perfect 5-0 record at the Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invite to capture the 133-pound title. His performance included two pins, two decisions, and a technical fall, capped by a 4-0 decision over No. 13-ranked Chance Suddeth of Augsburg in the gold division championship bout.

No. 1 Wartburg (9-1 overall, 3-0 A-R-C) looks toward the American Rivers Conference Duals set for Saturday, Jan. 24 in Dubuque, Iowa. The A-R-C will have five teams (Coe, Loras, Luther, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Simpson) head to Lincoln, Neb., as the four remaining teams (Buena Vista, Central Dubuque, and Wartburg) will be in Dubuque. A full dual pod schedule will be available next week.
