CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Wartburg College freshman
Kade Blume (Roland, Iowa/Roland-Story HS) picked up his inaugural American Rivers Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week award, announced by the league today.
Blume led the Knights to a perfect 3-0 showing at the A-R-C Duals over the weekend, delivering a pair of standout performances in the 141-pound weight class.
Blume highlighted his day with a 5-2 decision over returning All-American and No. 2-ranked Pierre Baldwin of Central College before closing the day off with a fall against Gavin Ross of Dubuque in 3:43.
Blume now stands at 14-2 on the season, including seven technical falls and three falls.

No. 1 Wartburg (12-1 overall, 6-0 A-R-C) will turn its attention to the annual Battle of the Burgs, traveling to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to face No. 3 Augsburg (8-2 overall) on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m., inside Si Melby Hall.
