MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The No. 1/2-ranked Wartburg College men's wrestling team (13-1 overall) brought the Swens-Milboy trophy belt back to Waverly with a dominant 21-9 dual win over No. 3/3 Augsburg in the Battle of the Burgs Friday night at the Si Melby Hall.
The Knights won seven out of the ten bouts, limiting the Auggies to their lowest team total in a Battle of the Burgs dual since Jan. 27, 2022 (24-8). Wartburg moves to 18-11 all-time in the signature duals and 26-19 against Augsburg overall – snapping a three-match losing skid in the rivalry. Â
Seven bouts featured ranked wrestlers, as No. 10
Cal Dorota (18-4) kicked off the night with an upset win over No. 6 Ethan Winkelman (24-4) at 197 pounds. Dorota scored a takedown at the 1:40 mark in the second period to secure a 4-2 decision.
Top-ranked heavyweight Mitch Williamson (17-0) followed, remaining perfect on the season with a 2-1 decision over the Auggies' sixth-ranked Tyler Raway (22-4) that went the distance.
Augsburg (8-3 overall) tallied its first-three points at 125 pounds with sudden victory to make it 6-3, Wartburg.
At 133, No. 9
Patrick Mullen (18-4) fended off No. 13 Chance Suddeth (18-11) with a 9-6 sudden victory win to stick the Knights up 9-3. No. 5
Kade Blume (15-2) got started early at 141, with a first-period takedown to cruise into an 8-2 decision. The Auggies would get a decision of their own at 149 to make it 12-6.

Charlie Dojan (22-0) also remained perfect on the season, taking down No. 6 Karsen Otis (24-5) of Augsburg at 157. Dojan led 5-0 heading to the third, registering three team points to make it 15-6. The Auggies fired back with another decision at 165 to bring it to 15-9.
No. 12
Mike Slade (19-7) sealed the belt at 174 for Wartburg with a 9-4 decision over Nick Alexander (13-14). Slade opened with a takedown in the opening period, followed by another triple with 35 ticks in the final period.
At 184, No. 2
Kasey Ross (19-0) defended his perfect record with an 8-2 decision over No. 4 Brandt Bombard (21-3). Ross let the time run out to give the Knights a 21-9 Battle of the Burgs dual win.
