The No. 1/2-ranked Wartburg College men's wrestling team (15-1 overall) returns to postseason action this weekend, competing at the 2026 NCAA Division III Region VI Championships on Friday, Feb. 27, and Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque. The regional meet is hosted by Loras College.
Beyond crowning a regional champion, the tournament serves as a direct qualifier for the NCAA postseason. The top three finishers in each of the 10 weight classes will earn automatic berths to the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, with the Knights aiming to send a full lineup through to nationals.

Friday, February 27
9 a.m. – Doors Open for Spectators
10 a.m. – Preliminary & Championship First Round (four mats)
12:30 p.m. – Consolation Preliminary, Championship Quarterfinals, Consolation First & Second Rounds
Saturday, February 28
9 a.m. – Doors Open for Spectators
10 a.m. – Championship Semifinals & Consolation Third Round (four mats)
There will be a 30-minute break after the consolation semifinals
12 p.m. – Consolation Semifinals
1:30 p.m. – Championship/Third/Fifth/Seventh Place Matches
3:30 p.m. – Awards Ceremony
TICKET INFORMATION
- All session tickets (weekend pass) - $26 for adults, $22 for students/seniors
- Single day tickets - $18 for adults, $14 for students/seniors. All spectators and those not receiving credentials are required to purchase a ticket.
- Children 5 and under are free.
Tickets will be sold ahead of time via HUDL and in person at the gates (cash or card).

TAKE NOTE
Last season, Wartburg claimed its fourth-straight Region VI title – 11th overall - with 169 total team points with six individuals qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet.
Brett Birchman (125),
Kasey Ross (184), and Mitch Williamson (285) are the Knights' returning qualifiers from last season's National Championship team.
Charlie Dojan (24-0),
Kasey Ross (22-0), and Mitch Williamson (18-0) headline the Knights' undefeated trio this season. Dojan has compiled 14 technical falls and four major decisions, while Ross owns 12 technical falls and two major decisions. Williamson has recorded 10 pins to go along with three technical falls.
Anthony Ulaszek (22-4) leads the team with a conference-best 16 falls.
